For those who have had the pleasure of working alongside me, my dedication to making Rockingham County the crown jewel of New Hampshire is no secret. Over my decade as County Commissioner from 2012 to 2022, my commitment never wavered. I advocated vigorously for the enhancement of adult daycare facilities across the county, championed transformative changes to the Meals on Wheels program to support New Hampshire businesses, and took pride in laying the first stone for the new municipal building—a project a decade in the making.

The redistricting process last year created a scenario where running for re-election became impossible. Far from disheartened, this turn of events has only bolstered my resolve. Today, I am more energized than ever to address the pressing issues facing our community—be it the mental health crisis, expanding elderly care options, or tackling the housing crisis. The challenges facing our rehabilitation and nursing homes, along with the Department of Corrections, remain close to my heart. I am prepared to resume this critical work with renewed vigor.

My tenure was marked by an exemplary collaboration with state representatives within the Rockingham County delegation. Our unique stance as the only county in the state without a county administrator not only reduced operational costs but also ensured lower taxes for our residents. This was possible because of the unparalleled team of elected officials and division directors we have—a team I proudly consider family. 

With District 3 now comprising 15 towns, the role of County Commissioner has never been more pivotal. It is a position that demands seasoned leadership and a deep-rooted commitment to our community.
